After the birth of my children, I heard about babywearing and felt instinctively drawn to it.  I only discovered later that recent scientific research* provides plenty of evidence that babywearing is beneficial for baby’s neurological development. 

As time passed my love for babywearing grew, and I started exploring my dream of creating my own handwoven baby wraps. I loved the idea of carrying my children in a wrap hand made by me, woven with equal amounts of quality yarn and love resulting in a unique handmade product.

In 2013, to ensure that my baby wraps would be sturdy and safe, I took an intensive training program with a renowned weaver in Prague in the Czech Republic. 

Upon returning to Belgium, I invested in my first loom and wove my first wrap and I knew this was the beginning of a new adventure.  In the following years, I invested lots of time and resources in different looms and learned to weave with various materials and techniques.

In addition I started experimenting with hand dyeing and I was hooked. I absolutely love the endless possibilities and beauty we can create when playing with colors which makes me want to explore and experiment even more.

This journey and passion for weaving and dyeing brought me to where I am today sharing my unique creations with you.

Some unique features of my creations: The cotton and cottolin yarns I use are GOTS certified organic yarns. Several luxury yarns like Swiss silk, Tussah silk, etc. are used as well. Most of the yarn I use is hand dyed by me to create unique pieces. I custom make any baby wrap, scarf, towel, pillowcase, etc.
